Yeah. Those claims are just some random AI slop from claude..

It's a really lazy one too - there are so many open source harnesses, including e.g. Codex and Kimi-CLI, and of course the leaked Claude Code source, so it's trivial to verify if someone even just bothered to ask an agent to check actual source code examples.

That's not necessarily true, you can have multiple cache points, see e.g. https://platform.claude.com/docs/en/build-with-claude/prompt...

Why would a salesperson rubber stamp product decisions? Even if yes, there are other roles that approved the changes.

The salesperson in question was the CEO.

This is very standard stuff in Finland for decades. And before heat pumps became popular large tanks were common and those were heated during the night.

The problem still exists up north where solar produces about zero energy for months. Of course, wind power is option there.

For Northern Europe there’s also hydro power. Norway is basically all hydro power plants and is well connected to its neighbours.

And there’s trash burning power (with district heating). Norway, Sweden and Denmark has a few of those. Possibly others in the region as well.

That depends on the consumer (and market I guess). In many countries in Europe that is an option. (Although there should be some extra fees on top).

The explanation is lack of interconnect, not losses in transmission. If you have enough capacity to transfer electricity the prices will be equal in two neighboring electricity markets.

Empirically this doesn't seem to happen.

Finland is probably like 15000 kWh/year/house (for a new house more like 10000 kWh/year). All the heating of the house & water is done by electricity, though.

Yes, 4€/kWh, which is dynamically adjusted (if that spot price is reached).

There are similar retailers in Australia. They even had a insurance against these super spikes such that the customers did have some fall back security. Details I'm not sure about but check https://www.amber.com.au/how-it-works
