Is K3 marked as a proprietary model because its weights have not been released yet? Were there indications from Moonshot that K3 would or would not be open weights?

The blog post says it's going to be open, but I don't think the weights have been released yet:

> Kimi K3 is the first open model to reach 2.8 trillion parameters. It marks the latest step in Kimi's sustained push at the scaling frontier: for nine of the past twelve months, Kimi models have set the upper bound of open-model sizes.

> The full model weights will be released by July 27, 2026.

Still sensible to mark proprietary for now though.

not much reason to think this won't happen except unconfirmed gossip, but I fully expect the next one to not be released. actually I won't be surprised if even this release was withheld and the announcement withdrawn.

I noticed my cursor was continuously sliding upward first in Neal.fun's latest canvas multiplayer game and I experienced it here as well. Anyone else see this behavior?

And maybe a skill issue but I was unable to jump out of the slime...

Hank Green's visualization[0] a few weeks ago cite several statistically significant risk increases to CRC incidence (omitting ultra endurance athletes):

- Sugary drinks (≥2/day as teen) - 2x

- Sedentary lifestyle (>2hr TV/day) - 1.7x

- Childhood antibiotics (recurrent) - 1.5x

Have any studies tracked the growth of these behaviors in recent decades, potentially lining up with the increase in early onset CRC?

Interesting but link is dead? Would love to see this.

Just found another way to make my designer panic. We're launching Arabic soon too!

At current prices, if you do not already have 32GB RAM, it will cost over $300 for DDR5, and over $200 for DDR4...

yep, the pricing is getting ridiculous... on the other hand if you are using that 32gb to make money then its an investment thats worth it imo

Both versions are grammatically correct. "Lagged behind" is common for everyday speech, while using "lagged" as a direct verb is a standard, formal way to describe data gaps in business or news. So yes, the headline uses just "lagged" to save space.
