What are you using for audiobook requests? I also recently setup arr stack, but I saw readarr is depreciated and there doesn't seem to be a clear successor.
After reading a lot of reddit threads I settled on ReadMeABook[0] and it has been working great so far. One pretty cool feature is that it lets you connect an LLM API key and then you can have it make requests based on your library. I now have Fable 5.1 suggesting my next book.

I tried shelfarr as well with some success a while back, but haven’t needed any new books lately since I’m busy catching up on the books I’ve downloaded (the Bible is long lol).
If you don’t want to commit to one of the vibecoded no community arr clones for books then i recommend shelfmark. Lightweight grabber, easy to start with, easy to rip out later.
Optimistically assuming you can do a lot of stuff well with GPT-6 in the legal space, its still going to be a lot of money -
1. Various court fees may still be thousands
2. You still will likely need to have at least _some_ legal representation. Not as much as before, but still thousands of dollars worth
3. You need to pray that your non-legal brain can catch any issues, both strategic & tactical, that GPT-6 produces because X's lawyers will be happy to pounce.
On one side, I agree with most comments here - end to end encryption is the only way to go, don't use snapchat, etc, etc.
On the other side, she did write about committing a school shooting. Its hard to infer comedy from a text chat you have no context on. If you pretend this info did not come from corporate snooping then I have nothing against the FBI investigating this.
I find it fascinating that some people have never themselves or known anyone else who, upon some person causing them serious loss of emotional well-being/time/work/money, joked about harming them in some way while venting to a friend or relative without any intention of doing so.
When someone has seriously harmed you in some fashion, it's pretty normal to fantasize about harming them back in some way (without intent to actually do so) as a coping mechanism.
People joke about a fire drills at work or their neighbour in the apartment building burning the toast and setting off the alarm. We don't equate that to people laughing about dozens of people burning to death (even if that's a possible reality of a fire) because to most of us it's not conceptualized like that.
This is a teacher in the US who would have had to sit through live shooting drills and never believed a live shooting would happen at her school (How much would you need to be paid to work somewhere where you seriously believed you had a 1 in 100 chance of being shot in the next 5 years, it wouldn't be a teachers salary for most of us).
Not surprised, but honestly I don't feel like this is a huge loss for cursor. Models are so commoditized, and 99% of users don't need particularly fancy models. Between existing anthropic models, composer-2, honestly even grok models, and also the fact that many people just use 'auto' mode, I feel like many won't feel the impact for OpenAI's withdrawal.
Maybe if Claude joined along it would be more impactful. For better or worse though, Xai seems like its lining themselves up to handle being on their own for cursor.
Steam only tells you if the game is released, but not if all of a games content has shipped (for instance post launch dlc, seasons etc). Its an imperfect system and it definitely isn't something everyone cares about to be fair.
Is the intention that if there's going to be future DLC, you don't want to play the game at all yet?
To me, it seems like there will probably be more units of DLC coming the more of a success the game is proving so far, and that it could keep coming pretty much indefinitely. So if you viewed such a game as "not done" you'd sit out a lot of widely loved new games "waiting for them to be done" for a long time.
Yeah absolutely. I am not saying this way of gaming is for everyone but it is how I prefer to play. I like to know I am getting the complete and total package. I don't want to play a game and then find out two years later my experience wasn't really the "definitive" one. So this site is for people like me with similarly broken brains lol
Doesn't it though? Typically as soon as DLC is announced it gets listed on Steam, do I can see there is unreleased DLC. I guess seasons isn't shown, but I feel like thats much more niche.
This one infuriates me to no end. On credit card bills amazon orders show up as random garbage strings in the description. I had systems that would read these emails and pull out the product data so that I can feed it into my finance tracking system. Now I can't do anything.
This also frustrates me, I vibe-coded [0] a chrome extension that reads the data from Amazon's website (read orders and purchases, which are different things...) and then matches them against the YNAB entries and then updates the memo line in YNAB with the name of the item(s) (after running the item name through a small LLM, haiku, to clean up amazon-speak into something reasonable).
This has been working well for me overall.
It's not open source (or paid), it's just for me and I'm not looking to maintain or support it but it should be easy to replicate. It does require I go to Amazon on my desktop and click the extension and tell it to "Sync" but that's easy enough and it makes my budgeting way easier.
[0] I did this over 1.5 years ago (Jan 2025) so it's probably even easier now, I wrote it with Aider and it cost $27.81 in API credits (this was before Claude Code/coding subscriptions). The only reason I know the cost so exactly is that I had started to write a blog post about it but abandoned it.

Is this the first case of a company's data being sold at bankruptcy for a significant sum? I'm genuinely unsure. Where there such value in this type of data before? Is every bankruptcy manager looking at this and seeing how every bankruptcy can now raise a few million more dollars?
It's $30 off the $100 reservation fee, not off the entire price. Let's see if they manage to start delivering some finally now. There's no inherent reason you can't build something like this. Solar panels are getting more efficient over time, batteries storage gets more dense and less weight.
$40k is pretty high though. They've had endless drama and turmoil. It does take a huge amount of money and effort to bring a new vehicle to market. I'm skeptical but I guess I hope they make it.
